I built the small single drawer with half blind dovetails at all four corners.

I installed a 9” full extension undermount drawer slide. I use a hardwood shim between the drawer bottom and the slide. I plane the shim to fine tune the fit of the drawer in its opening.

The drawer bottom is aromatic cedar.

Here you can see the blocking that was added to receive the drawer slide, and the figure 8 fasteners used to attach the top.

I use a scrap of plywood as a jig to locate the holes for the drawer pulls.
