Hi;
seems like showing off one’s Shop built or home-made tools is de rigueur here so I’ll get it over with fast!
Over the years I have built many tools and jigs. some were failures, most were not.
this sunplane was one of my first planes, i made it for use at a coopering class. while not a failure, it doesn’t get used.

this round soled plane I made for chairmaking class. it also doesn’t get used. the Travisher leaves a better finish.

this Scrub Plane gets used a lot!

a set of Finger planes in rosewood, the biggest 2 get used most.

5 “frame” or “turning” saws that I made the frames for.

Handles! you gots to be able to make your own handles!

make your own compasses, you really should.

Panel gauge

Marking gauges and bowl depth gauge. Making gauges is so simple that I am often perplexed that some people don’t do it.

1/2” shoulder plane made from a kit, center finder gauge for round stuff, ball ender for 1” rod, scratch stocks
