I found a stub of UHMW PE plastic and threw it on my little bench top mill to fabricate a sliding hinge block for a flip stop. Nothing fancy, I designed it on the fly….
I call UHMW the poor mans Teflon, as it slides like Teflon and machines pretty well, but is a fraction of the cost.
I’ve had a little cut off of Mahogany kicking around that was about the right size for the stop.

It tightens up with no play and yet slides smoothly with modest effort.
Calling it done.
