I was able to finish the table saw yesterday. The blade is moving up and down well. The tilting gets a little sticky still some times but I figure that will work its self out. The Blaster Teflon dry lube worked well.
The Accu-Link belt from Harbor Freight runs smoothly. I recommend anyone near a Harbor Freight picking one up with a coupon, or ordering one online.
I waxed the top with Johnson Wax along with the fence and rails so everything slides smoothly. I was able to align the fence with the miter slot and it seems to be holding but I know I will need to keep an eye on it. From the reviews I have read regarding the stock fence system it can move out of alignment. Now I just need to adjust the blade and the guard to 90 and parallel to the fence and I should be able to start cutting. One of the first items I would like to build is a cross cut sled. I enjoyed the project and it was a great learning experience. I now know more about tables saws then I would have if I had bought a new one. Having the saw on its side cleaning up the trunnion and learning how it is put together and how it works is a great knowledge to have.
Future projects for my work shop will be building a table for my miter saw and replacing my workbench with a actual wood working work bench.
