School days revisited

Well I am back home again after my working trip to Sydney.

One of the tasks was at a school and in particular their wood working shop.

As it was a “few” years since I stood behind one of these benches as a student I thought I should share the experience.

This is a school catering for up to year 12 students.

From memory the benches have not changed much but the equipment fit out certainly has.

Here is a quick pictorial tour for those needing an update.

Six double sided workbenches

A band saw and project under construction

Drill press and sanders

Drop saw and another project under construction

Some hand tools and overhead duct extractor system

A lathe
Possible a pen blank under construction when the bell rang!

A nice saw
I would kill for one of these or even the space to be able to put it in!

That’s all enjoy
