I have read the different reviews on track saw by different mfg. and opted to buy the Makita back when it was on sale at HD before Christmas. I read the manual and inspected the saw and track but never put it to any test until this week working on my addition to my workshop. I found it to work quite well and performed as they had described in the manual. Had a little time getting use to the plunge controls at first but was easily over come after a few uses. Being able to cut at different angles was nice with little effort. I can see this will be a real time save on breaking down sheet goods.
Can say anything about the other brands, but as for the Makita I am very pleased with it.
