My workshop is located in the commercial building where we have our engraving business. When I moved into his building in 1990, we were downsizing, so space was at a premium. I had to really work to carve out 450 square feet for woodworking.

Next to that is a larger room where I made award ribbons, like for track & field. Recently, my partner/spouse and I decided it was time to eliminate that part of the business. It’s been a huge chore clearing out all that stuff:

And I’m nowhere near done. Problem is, seems no one wants any of it. I’m not surprised, since I was the last in town doing ribbons. So the inventory I gave to Goodwill. Most of the equipment is actually antique printing stuff. Hot metal printing. That will be gifted to a hobby printer in Black Forest who’s shop and home were consumed by the great fire last summer. For now, it’s still in my shop waiting for him to rebuild his. Here’s the Ludlow typecaster:
