Being pretty new at woodworking everything is new to me. I’ve been watching all sort of videos on google sketchup and I’m so impressed by the program, it’s very powerful.
However, here at work I am not allowed to download it onto my computer so I’ve been messing around with an alternative. MS paint!!! it’s pretty funny, but it allowed me to design the liquor cabinet that I’m getting ready to start.
I’m heading to Chile in less then 2 weeks to play in a poker tournament and I intend to began once I get back. I’m going to order 100 BF of walnut before I go and let it acclimate in my garage till I’m ready to begin. any suggestions where I can order this would be greatly appreciated… closest place I can but walnut is in San Diego which is 115 miles or so away. I think the Internet is the way to go.
anyways, here’s my wine cooler fridge thing that I have already.
my plan is to build a cabinet or buffet around this unit and use it as my bar, mostly drink whiskeys and tequilas.
I want 2 cabinets on either side of the fridge, and inside them will be a mixture of shelves to hold more whiskey and maybe a rack to hold wine glasses, snifters, shot and rock glasses.
and above that have 3 drawers to hold other various bar items… this idea isn’t set in stone and I’m willing to take any and all suggestions
here’s what I made on paint…
